The operations of the Scientech Meter are controlled by two switches and are displayed on the graphic OLED display as above. Each switch has a stable center OFF position and UP and DOWN momentary ON positions. The leftmost switch is named Page and the other Field.

The Page switch selects the 0 - 5 pages in round-robin fashion. The sequence for the UP switch is 0…5.

The appearance of pages 3 and 4 depends on the Field switch, all in round-robin fashion.

In position 3 the UP switch cycles through 3a..3d. The position selected controls the page appearing in page 4, in corresponding letter.

In pages 1,2,4 and 5 the Field switch performs operations and the display shows the result.

In page 1  it cycles the range of the back attenuator in round-robin fashion. in UP operation it cycles between 30V .. 100uA. The knob on the back has to be manually turned to match.

In page 2  it cycles the range of the old Volt-Ammeter in round-robin fashion. in UP operation it cycles between 800mV .. 20uA. The knob on the old Volt-Ammeter has to be manually turned to match.

In page 4a UP enables transmissions, DOWN prohibits them.

In page 4b UP increments the seconds between transmissions, DOWN decrements it.

In page 4c UP sets Daylight Saving Time, DOWN Standard Time. Since it does not change the RTC, it messes up at midnight.

In page 4d UP increments the minutes, DOWN decrements it. It immediately changes the RTC.

In page 5 UP stores the following settings in EEPROM: The internal and external ranges, the value in page 3, the DST selection, the Transmit ON/OFF election  and the transmission interval.

In page 5 DOWN forces an immediate transmission, if enabled.
